Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

     Teachers are in demand in both private and government sectors. After earing B.Ed. degree, you will be eligible to get job in secondary and higher secondary schools. After pursuing B.Ed. you will get offered a teaching job as a permanent , tempoarary ,part –time and full time as per your interest.

     This has been designed for those aspirants who are interested to pursue career in teaching and other realted field.For teaching in high schools and higher primary schools, b.ed degree is must require in India.At present the need for trained teachers is very high as lot of schools are building day by day.To become a successful professional in teaching field one should has a minimum qualification in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).


     The duration of B.Ed course is 2 Years(4 semesters). This course can be pursued as a full-time.


     1. Students must have done B.A(Bachelor of Arts)/ of commerce )/B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) or any other graduation level degree from any recognized university or college.

     2. Students should have obtained at least 50% marks in graduation level.

     3. You can also join B.Ed. degree after pursuing a master’s degree.


     After completing B.Ed, you have a lot of scope to get job in private as well as government schools with a good salary package. The salary depends upon the post you are holding in the school.

     B.Ed. course provides greater scope, improves teaching skills and develops sound knowledge and understanding of candidates so that best quality of education can be imparted to students.

     B.Ed. also helps candidates learn the methodologies, practical oriented activities and training process which develop practical teaching skills beneficial to become an efficient teacher.

Admission Process

     We have 100 seats available in B.Ed. course in which 50 seats are reserved for Minority Quota. At our college admissions can be done through Counselling and Direct. At counselling levelUniversity will conduct UP B.Ed counselling in online mode. There are 03 rounds of counselling, namely, first counselling which is round 1, pool counselling – round 2 and direct admission – round 3. Only those candidates whose name is included in the merit list are eligible to participate in UP B.Ed JEE counselling. The counsellig process includes registration, payment of counselling and advance college fee, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting at allotted college, and document verification.

     In direct admission, admission is done at college level. Admissions are done on the basis of merit.
