The U.P. RajarshiTandon Open University, Allahabad, was established under Act No. 10/1999 passed by U.P. Legislature and assented to by the Governer of U.P. on March 24,1999. From July 2007-08 Session SRI MAHESH PRASAD DEGREE COLLEGE, MOHANLALGANJ, LUCKNOW was selected as study centre of U.P.R.T.O.U. At present the following courses have been granted by the University to be conducted through the SRI MAHESH PRASAD DEGREE COLLEGE, MOHANLALGANJ, LUCKNOWStudy Centre.At present about 50 students are enrolled at this centre and counselling classes are held at the centre.
